What isn't forbidden, is compulsory

Looks like Misha and Day by Day author/artist Chris Muir are on top of things. Both have already posted their reaction to the CBS requirement that all affiliates must carry an hour-long infomercial on Clinton's upcoming book, My Struggle Life.

Actually, if it were really about Clinton's life, it should have been published with a pencil and an eraser. :)

But There's No Media Bias Here!tm

Just like NBC requires all it's affiliates to carry the annual one-hour Bush puff piece, lovingly narrated by Tom Brokaw.

Don, do you refer to the State of the Union address? That's equal opportunity: they have to carry boring Republicans and boring Democrats. Heh.

I have to admit that even slick Wille could usually sound more interesting than Dubya, although I hear Bill's '88 convention speech was a real stem-winder. :)

On a (barely) more serious note, I doubt that NBC is making money off of the piece, either.
